17 edo guitar duet in machine is a piece that strictly follows the generator melodically but does not harmonically in instances. The machine generator is 3 steps in 17 edo. I do not use the 3 3 3 3 3 2 variation but use the full machine that does not close until three octaves and therefore does not have a melodic “small” step. Each step is about 212 cents. So this piece uses a whole tone scale of 17 notes over three octaves.
