This is an improvisation using my newly minted 17 edo piano layout with a tuning Jake Freivald suggested for the instrument.

  1. Thank you visitor! I have to call attention to what the 17 edo was referring to. If you read the text again you will see I was talking about a DIY 17 note per octave controller I made. If you look at the preceding post you can see this controller.

    JI is correct, and 17 per octave is correct, but you shouldn’t call it 17 edo because EDO stands for “Equal Divisions of the Octave” and your adjacent intervals are not all the same.

    It sounds good BTW, and fits the rain video.
