My favorite Kontakt sample provider Soniccouture has made a long standing wish of mine – to have an extended technique string section sample set, come to life with the newly released Threnody Strings collection. Here I place two iterations of Threnody Strings with one instance their Xtended piano sample set. While technically 12 equal, it does mix up pitch in a pretty fluid way for most of the content. I’m quite satisfied with the purchase. Thank you Dan and James!
P.S. Threnody does come with a large number of world tunings, I simply chose to concentrate on the effects here and having a particular tuning was not the point.
