In The Garden (Golden Ratio tuned harp solo)

Hanging_Gardens_of_Babylon

In The Garden feature’s Jake Freivald’s Golden Ratio tuning. Taking a comment from him that he viewed this tuning to be more suitable to melody than harmony I tried to stay mostly in the realm of melodic development though towards the end I do get a bit of harmonization in.

  1. Thanks Jake! – BTW for you and perhaps others, I’m playing every other note, sort of like whole tone scales, with an occasional 3 step jump, in this. It seems to work well with this tuning.

  2. This is really nice, Chris. I love the smooth sound of the harp, especially, with this tuning.

And, for the record, I may well be wrong. I’m always amazed with what you can make from the raw materials that flow your way.
