Mashed Insect Puree is a mash featuring Benjamin Smith (piano), Paul Mimlitsch x 2 (bass recorder and bass clarinet), Lydia Busler-Blais (horn), and myself (percussion) – all tracks manipulated – the tuning is nominally 12 equal, however, there is enough pitch bending to rightfully call this microtonal + 12 equal (seeing how Ben’s piano doesn’t bend).
Pollen Express is a collection of percussive samples manipulated and played in 11 edo and two sets of harmonic series (from 27.5 and 262 Hz).
